Lauren Ramos LPC CPCS

Working therapy creates a relationship where both therapist and client are accountable to facilitating change. Therefore, it’s my job to create a space that feels safe and supportive of some pretty difficult work.

I utilize Attachment Theory to understand the patterns in your relationships that make it hard to trust, get needs met, or let others in.

I employ various modalities to help build insight and tolerate the discomfort of changing these patterns to have more fulfilling relationships.

Most of us struggle to feel like we deserve validation or that change is possible. Threading the needle of that dialectic is deeply personal and an innate capacity I strive to help clients unlock. If we have to do hard things we should do them in cozy spaces, with authentic people, and always reward ourselves for sitting in discomfort with just the right amount of humor and maybe even snacks.

I provide individual therapy to adults experiencing a variety of presenting issues including: depression, anxiety, perfectionism, religious trauma, and relationship issues. I also provide supervision for pre-licensed clinicians seeking licensure in the state of Georgia. I use an integrative & intersectional model of psychotherapy with an expertise in Attachment based therapy. I have worked predominantly in residential and outpatient settings focusing on individual, group, and family psychoeducation. I also co-host a podcast on mental health, Attachment Theory, and media.
